PHILADELPHIA – A third quarter 20-2 run by Richmond (5-15, 2-5 A-10) proved to be too much for the La Salle women's basketball team (3-18, 0-7 A-10) Saturday afternoon, as the Explorers fell to the Spiders, 74-60. Four players for La Salle ended in double figure scoring totals for the first time since the team's win over Pepperdine earlier this season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The first frame was a back and forth battle, seeing eight different lead changes. The Spiders ended the stanza with a slight, 17-15, lead.

- La Salle opened the third stanza outscoring the Spiders 8-4 through the first five minutes. Richmond pulled away in the final five minutes of the quarter, taking a 20-2 run.
- The Explorers tried to mount a comeback in the fourth and final frame, outscoring Richmond 15-13, however the push wasn't enough.
