PHILADELPHIA –After a week off, men's water polo is back in action this weekend. The Explorers will travel to #15 George Washington on Friday, head over to Navy on Saturday and stay in the area that day for a match at Johns Hopkins.
ABOUT THE EXPLORERS
- In three games, senior Joey DeFusco led the way last weekend on points with 11 (three goals, eight assists), and sophomore Tyler Williams was the top scorer with seven goals.
- Junior Cole Strohson put in a few impressive shifts on defense over those three games with six blocks and 11 steals.
- Senior Luke Waechter had a well-rounded weekend with five goals, two assists, two steals, four exclusions earned and four blocks.
- Junior Cameron Schiable record the most saves with 14, followed by freshman Adriano Zunino on 11.
SCOUTING THE COLONIALS
- George Washington has only dropped three games all season, winning 12 and, currently, five in a row. The team boasts a sterling 3-0 record in conference play.
- The Colonials defeated La Salle 19-6 last time out on September 29th at Kirk Pool.
- Levai leads the charge for George Washington, having scored 55 times so far. The number eight is also the top provider in the team, dishing out 24 assists.
- The Colonials' net is protected by graduate student Matt Taylor who has 171 saves and a .561 save percentage.

SCOUTING THE MIDSHIPMEN
- Navy is 11-6 this season, also boasting a 3-0 mark in conference play. It defeated the Explorers 21-13 at Kirk Pool on September 20th.
- Senior Isaac Salinas has unleashed 114 shots this campaign, 57 of them for goals. He is also the team's leader in steals (16) and kickouts drawn (17).
- In net, Ronan Williams has recorded 93 saves and a .482 save percentage. He has also chipped in 12 steals and four assists.

SCOUTING THE BLUE JAYS
- Johns Hopkins comes into the weekend with a 5-13 record overall and 1-3 in conference play. Its sole MAWPC win came against the Explorers on September 29th.
- The Blue Jays top point man is Finn Banks with 78 (43 goals, 35 assists), while Jayden Kunwar is the team's lead goal scorer with 49 strikes.
