PHILADELPHIA – The Explorers host their final pair of home games this season as Dayton and Saint Louis come to town. La Salle currently sits fifth in the standings, while Dayton are second and Saint Louis third.

ABOUT THE EXPLORERS
  • On a roll: La Salle has been playing well recently in conference play, going 4-1 in its last five games.
  • The Explorers rank first in the A-10 in assists per set (12.91) and kills per set (13.70), while sitting second in digs per set (16.85).
  • Senior Kathryn Wood tops the conference in assists per set (10.64), while freshman Rachel Hess is third in digs per set (4.48) and junior Samantha Graver is third in points (353) and attacks (930).
  • Graver is also the only player in the A-10 with a triple-double this season, recording a line of 14 kills, 10 assists and 28 digs in a win over Fordham.
  • Freshman watch: while Hess leads the team in digs, classmate Marisa Guisti paces the Explorers in blocks (66) this campaign. She also ranks fourth in kills (157).
SCOUTING THE FLYERS
  • Dayton in flawless in conference play so far, going 10-0. Having not yet played VCU this season, it is behind the Rams on overall record.
  • As a team, the Flyers surprisingly don't rank first in any category. They are, however, second in both hitting percentage (.247) and opponent hitting percentage (.168), indicative of a team that thrives attacking and defending.
  • Dayton does have arguably the most dangerous offensive player in the conference in redshirt sophomore Jamie Peterson. She leads the A-10 in aces per set (0.46), kills per set (4.68) and points per set (5.58).
  • Game time: Friday, 7:00 p.m.
SCOUTING THE BILLIKENS
  • Saint Louis is third in the A-10 with an 8-2 mark; its only losses coming against Dayton twice.
  • The Billikens are also not first in any team category in the conference, but towards the top in many. They are second in aces per set (1.57), assists per set (12.30), and kills per set (13.14), while ranking third in opponent hitting percentage (.175).
  • The team from Missouri is bolstered by a pair of juniors, Kennedy Cordia and Maya Taylor. Cordia is second in the A-10 in aces per set (0.45) and assists per set (9.60), while Taylor is second in kills per set (4.14) and points per set (4.56).
