PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle men's swimming & diving team fell to Delaware 156-139 and Rider 186-109 as the Explorers hosted their first meet of the 2019-20 season. Senior

Sam Henninger each finished first on Saturday.
MEET NOTES
- Gregory took first in the 200 Free with a time of 1:42.72, also placing second in the 50 Free and 100 Free. It was his anchor leg in the final event of the day, the 400 Free Relay, that gave the Explorers' the top result.
- Henninger continued the great start to his La Salle career with the best finish in the 1-meter, scoring 293.15. The rookie also placed second in the 3-meter.
- Venter beat out the field in the 200 Back with a time of 1:52.86 and touched second in the 100 Back.
- Dyson's day: Freshman Cole Dyson had a solid outing with a third-place race in the 1000 Free and a fourth-place finish in the 500 Free.
- Also in the top three were juniors Gustav Swedenborg (third in the 500 Free) and Daniel Johnson (100 Free).
- About that relay: along with Gregory, that first-place team in the 400 Free contained Johnson, Dyson and Venter.
