HOW IT HAPPENED

  • La Salle nearly answered right back as senior Pat McCarthy had an open attempt from the right side of the box, but Lafayette keeper Alex Sutton denied the shot to maintain the 1-0 lead held until halftime.
  • After nearly 50 scoreless minutes, itt was Goncalves again finding a goal in the 68th minute to push the Leopards ahead by two.
  • Sebastian Varela then put the game away for good with a tally in the 80th minute to make it 3-0.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
