STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Junior Dennis Manyeah earned a runner-up finish in the high jump to lead the La Salle University men's track and field team at the UAlbany Winter Classic on Friday from the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
 
WHERE THEY FINISHED

• Manyeah took second in the high jump with an even mark of 2.00 meters. He's finished second or better in seven of the eight events he's competed in so far this season.
• Sophomore Chris Lewis placed seventh among 83 finishers in the 200-meter dash, crossing the finish line in 21.92 seconds.
• Senior Darian Alston finished 14th out of 49 jumpers with a mark of 6.64 meters in the long jump.
• Sophomore Khyree Johnson-Waters took 16th out of 39 competitors with a time of 8.79 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles, while freshman Madda Ngaima was 24th.
• Freshman Alex Sandras placed 17th among 58 finishers in the 3,000 meters with a time of 8:45.06, while fellow rookie Taonga Mbambo was 33rd in 8:59.47 in his La Salle track debut.
• Freshman Dylan Servis finished the 800-meter run in 1:58.51 to end up 32nd out of 69 runners.
