PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle men's basketball team fell to the Davidson Wildcats in Atlantic 10 Conference action from Tom Gola Arena on Saturday, 77-53. Senior Scott Spencer led the Explorers with 12 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Luka Brajkovic scored 13 of Davidson's first 18 points and provided the Wildcats with an 11-point cushion 7:17 into the first half.
• Davidson then stretched the lead to 30-12 with seven minutes remaining in the half to force La Salle to burn a timeout, and continued to score in bunches on its way to a 44-25 halftime lead.
• The Explorers scored the first six points of the second half on a Christian Ray jumper and back-to-back baskets by junior Jared Kimbrough, cutting the deficit down to 13.
• However, the Wildcats responded with a 7-0 run to take full command up 51-31 and never looked back from there.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Carter Collins led all scorers with 24 points to pave the way for the Wildcats, who shot 55.2 percent from the field for the game and held a 35-25 rebounding advantage.
• Spencer went 4-of-7 from three-point territory for the Explorers, while Kimbrough added a season-high eight points and five rebounds. Freshman Jhamir Brickus also had eight points and four assists.
