Men's Swimming and Diving | October 1, 2021
CHESTNUT HILL, MA. - La Salle men's and women's swimming kicked off their seasons on Friday night, competing in the Catholic Invite hosted by Boston College.
After ten events, the women sit in second place with 168 points in the seven-team field, while the men rank fifth at 99 points with one day to go.
MEET NOTES:
- Toni Rafferty, Sara Rizzetto, Sam Boyes, and Brynn Peterson finished second in the women's 200 yard freestyle relay, clocking in at 1:38.03.
- In the men's 200 yard freestyle relay, Zack Miller, Alex Kuriawa, Trenton Burr, and Caleb Ingham clocked in at 1:26.41 to place third.
- Anne Moser finished third in the women's 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:12.62.
- In the women's 200 yard IM, Rizzetto ranked third with a time of 2:06.45.
- Rafferty and Lauren Fenn finished sixth and seventh respectively in the women's 50 yard freestyle.
- Miller finished fifth in the men's 50 yard freestyle with a time of 21.57, while Kuriawa placed eighth at 21.65.
