PHILADELPHIA – It was Senior Day success for the La Salle women's basketball team (11-13, 7-10) as it dominated St. Bonaventure (6-14, 5-12 A-10), 77-51. Prior to the game, seniors

Deja King, and
Haleigh Hill were recognized for their contributions to the program.
The 26-point victory ties the Explorers largest win of the season and is the largest A-10 win since it topped UMass, 78-41 on Jan. 11, 2014.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- La Salle went up 6-3 to start the game, however the Bonnies were able to knot things at seven shortly before the media break. An Explorers' long ball pushed the Blue & Golf on top 10-7 at the stoppage with 4:30 left in the first. The home team took eight of the final 17 points in the period for an 18-13 margin.
- After the visitors scored the first five of the second period, La Salle jumped out to an 8-0 run over a 2:12 span, which forced a Bonnies' timeout with the Explorers up 26-20. SBU outpaced La Salle 11-8 over the remainder of the period with the Blue & Gold on top, 34-29.
- The Explorers scored the first seven points of the third stanza, which forced a SBU timeout at 8:10. La Salle outpaced the Bonnies 12-6 up to the 3:54 mark for the second media timeout to grow its lead to 18 points at 53-35. The Blue & Gold finished the third with a 3-2 advantage to head into the final frame on top, 56-37.
- La Salle claimed 10 of the first 19 points through the initial 5:12 of the final quarter. The home squad ended the game with an 11-6 margin to cap the victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Sophomore Claire Jacobs tallied a game high 20 points on a 6-of-8 shooting effort, including a perfect 4-of-4 from deep and 4-of-4 at the line.
- Junior Kayla Spruill notched 17 points and did not miss a field goal or free throw with five buckets, three long balls, and four freebies.
- Senior Haleigh Hill registered her first career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. She also had five steals.
- Senior Deja King and junior Molly Masciantonio each dropped eight points. King added four steals and four assists.
- Senior Kate Hill tied her season high with seven assists.
- La Salle outshot SBU 41.0% to 32.8% from the floor, 41.9% to 8.7% from three, and 87.5% to 77.8% from the line.
- The Blue & Gold claimed the turnover margin at +12 (12 to 24).
GAME NOTES:
- H. Hill's steals and points are career marks for the JUCO transfer.
- The seven conference wins tie last season's total.
- La Salle moves to 5-2 on Sunday this season and 8-2 when leading at the half.
