PHILADELPHIA – In a crosstown, Atlantic 10 matchup, the La Salle women's soccer team (4-1-0, 1-1-0 A-10) is set to battle the Saint Joseph's Hawks (2-3-2, 1-0-1 A-10) on Sunday at McCarthy Stadium. Kickoff is slated for noon with the game airing nationally on ESPN+.
SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
- La Salle is fresh off a 1-0 victory over Rhode Island this past Thursday.
- Senior Amirah Louketis, and freshmen Caitlin Donovan and Kelli McGroarty pace the Blue & Gold with seven points each on three goals and one assist.
- A total of 12 Explorers have tallied a point this season.
- In net, redshirt-freshman Jordynn Stallard (3-1) has made four starts. All of her wins have come in shutouts with the rookie only allowing one goal against all season.
SCOUTING THE HAWKS:
- Saint Joseph's won its most recent game against Fordham, 2-0.
- Like La Salle, 12 players have registered a point on the campaign.
- Sofia Filippo leads the team with six points on a pair of goals and pair of assists.
- Kathleen Rivera (2-2-2) is the starting keeper for St. Joe's. She's recorded six starts this season with six goals against.
