ABOUT THE EXPLORERS
- La Salle is coming off a pair of tough 2-1 losses to A-10 foe Lock Haven and Towson last weekend.
- Sophomore Natalie Biliunas scored the first goal of her career to give the Explorers an early lead in the first quarter against the Bald Eagles, but LHU quick came back with two goals to re-take the lead.
- Despite outshooting Lock Haven by a 5-3 margin over the final three quarters, La Salle could not come up with the equalizer.
- Two days later, another sluggish start saw the Explorers faced with a 2-0 deficit after the first 15 minutes of action.
- Over the final 45 minutes, La Salle outshot Towson by a 14-6 margin and found the back of the cage late with sophomore Hannah Yanovich tallying her first of the season. But it was not enough as the Explorers dropped a close one.
- On the year, senior Rialee Allen and freshman Paige Doyle pace the squad with six shots each. Redshirt junior Cassie Kincaid has played the majority of time in goal for the Explorers and has totaled 29 saves.
SCOUTING UMASS
- The Minutewomen holds a 4-2 record and had won four straight prior to a 2-1 overtime loss to Lock Haven on Thursday.
- Josephine Ang scored the first goal of the game for the Minutewomen, but goals in the 9th and 74th minutes propelled LHU to a win.
