PHILADELPHIA – La Salle swimming & diving hosts Villanova on Saturday at 1 p.m. to close out the regular season. The Explorers will honor their four seniors prior to the meet: Julie D'Amore, Isaiah Gregory, Daniel Johnson and Paolo Sunyak.
 
ABOUT THE EXPLORERS

• The Blue & Gold heads into this meet after hosting Loyola (Md.) last time out. The men swam to a 156-138 victory, while the women fell by a score of 165-130.
• The meet was highlighted by juniors Zachary Wolbert and Sara Rizzetto, both of whome broke pool record.
• Wolbert broke the 200 Fly record with a time of 1:47.73, previously set by Mel Stewart 34 years ago.
• Rizzetto claimed two pool records: the 200 Back with a time of 2:00.08 and the 400 IM in a time of 4:24.20.
• Junior Phoebe Shaya was the other multi-event winner for the women, claiming the 1-meter and 3-meter dives.
• For the men, Wolbert finished with three wins: the 100 Fly, 200 Fly and 400 IM.
• Gregory picked up a pair of wins in the 100 Breast and 200 Breast, while sophomore Sam Henninger was the other multi-event winner in the 1-meter and 3-meter dives.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS

• For Villanova, the women's team is 3-0 on the season, most recently defeating Seton Hall. The men, on the flip side, are 0-3.
• La Salle's men's team have defeated Villanova in four of the last five matchups, while Villanova's women have found much more success against the Explorers.
