  • Senior Jack Cucinotta was a key to the comeback with his fourth home run of the season in the first inning and an RBI single to tie the game in the fifth. He finished the day 2-for-3 with two RBI, two runs, two stolen bases and a walk.
  • Redshirt sophomore Nick Di Vietro also had a big game, delivering the go-ahead RBI single in the sixth and adding a two-run single down the left field line to give the Explorers a four-run lead late. Meanwhile junior Tatem Levins smacked his third homer of the season.
  • Sophomore Gabe Rappa allowed just three first-inning runs and just six hits over 5.2 innings while striking out eight. Redshirt freshman Colin Yablonski picked up his first career win, while senior Colin Kennedy earned his first career save as both combined for 3.1 shutout innings of relief.
