LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – The La Salle women's golf team finished round two of the MAAC Championship on Saturday and posted a team score of 351 (+63) for a two-day total of 699 (+123).
ABOUT THE EVENT:
- The three-round championship is being played at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course.
- The second round of the course is on the par 72, 6,023-yard tees.
- All nine MAAC schools are competing for a total of 45 participants.
LA SALLE SCORECARD:
- Junior Grace Hickey leads the Explorers with a 166 (+22) after she tallied an 84 (+22).
- Rookie Hannah Basler is second at 171 (+27). Basler carded an 89 (+27) in round two.
- Freshmen Kayleigh Zeman and Megan Ruffing have an identical line and moved up one spot to be tied for 42nd with a 181 (+37). The duo each fired an 89 (+27) on Saturday.
- Rookie Libby Gilliland shaved two strokes off her day one total for a 94 (+22) on the second go around. She has a 190 (+46) overall.
THE FIELD:
- Quinnipiac remains in first after round two by eight strokes after it shot a 296 (+8) on Saturday.
- Hartford's Maria Loza carded her second consecutive round of 72 (E) and holds a three-stroke lead.
UP NEXT:
La Salle concludes the MAAC Championship on Sunday with the third and final round.
