LORETTO, Pa. - The La Salle University women's soccer team looks to conclude its non-conference slate on a winning note Wednesday, as it travels to the Pittsburgh area to take on Saint Francis U. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
ABOUT THE EXPLORERS:
- La Salle (1-4-1) rounds out an extremely difficult non-conference schedule that featured two games against nationally-ranked teams.Â
- The combined record of the Explorers' six opponents to date is 25-11-2, with Penn State currently sitting No. 8 in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll and Rutgers at No. 16.
- Junior Emily Banashefski leads La Salle in goals (2) and points (5) on the year, while freshman Shea Collins has a team-high two assists.
- Last time out, the Explorers held a 1-0 lead late into the second half before Columbia equalized in the 83rd minute and found the game winner in the second overtime period.
