PHILADELPHIA, P.a. – La Salle men's soccer returned home tonight and topped St. Bonaventure 2-1, winning their second A-10 conference win of 2022.
 
The Explorers now sit at 3-5-2 on the year and St. Bonaventure falls to 3-6-1.
 
How it Happened –

• Both teams began the game shooting the ball, and the Bonnies found the back of the net in the 18^th minute. Luca Nicastro scored his second goal of the year.
• In the 19^th minute, the Explorer's scored on a foul kick. Omari Cotterell found the back of the net after shooting through a line of St. Bonaventure defenders, scoring his third goal of the season.
• The Explorers continues the offensive pressure throughout the rest of the first half shooting the ball nine more times.
• Nigel Buckley gave the Explorers the 2-1 lead in the 56^th minute of the match. Buckley found the back right corner of the net, blowing the ball by the goalkeeper. This was Buckley's third goal of the season.
• Filip Sabatti saved his only shot on goal in the second half of the match, helping La Salle to the 2-1 win.

• Nigel Buckley and Omari Cotterell are the goal leaders for La Salle this season, each with three goals.
• The Explorers led the match in shots with 17 opposed to St. Bonaventure's four.
