PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – La Salle men's soccer dropped a physical battle to out of conference Lafayette 1-3.
 
The Explorers now sit at 3-6-4 (2-1-2 in conference) and Lafayette goes to 8-4-1 in 2022.
 
How it Happened –

• Lafayette got on the board early as Hale Lombard headed a ball into the back of the net off a throw in by Will Echeverria in the eighth minute.
• In the 28^th minute Lawrence Aydlett gave the Leopards the 2-0 lead after he gathered himself in a traffic filled box.
• Isak Sedin got La Salle on the board with his second goal on the year. The senior put a rebound off a defender in the back of the net to put La Salle within one goal.
• In the 82^nd minute Lafayette's Marco Kitromilides gave the Leopards a 3-1. His goal came of another throw in by Will Echeverria that was headed into the back of the net.

 
Inside the Numbers –

• Isak Sedin scored his second goal of 2022.
• La Salle had eight shots on the night, five being on goal, while Lafayette had 10 shots with six being on goal.
• There were 27 fouls throughout the game, 14 by Lafayette and 13 by La Salle.
• Lafayette led in corner kicks 5-1.
