PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Omari Cotterell broke a scoreless tie late, as he scored in the 80^th minute of the match to get La Salle past Duquesne.
 
The Explorers are now 5-8-4 on the season and 3-3-2 in conference play. Duquesne is handed their first in-conference loss as they are now 10-3-4 overall and 4-1-3 in conference play.
 
How it Happened –

• The entirety of the match was fueled by La Salle shots as they took six total in the first half, four within the first 15 minutes of the game.
• Late in the game, Omari Cotterell took a shot from the top of the box after avoiding a handful of defenders and pushed the put high into the back of the net. This goal broke the scoreless tie and gave the Explorers the coveted goal in the 80^th minute.
• The Dukes' Maxi Hopfer was fouled in the 82^nd minute of the contest which would set up a penalty kick.
• Filib Sabatti, at full extension to his left, saved the low shot to keep Duquesne off the board late.
