EDISON, N.J. – La Salle women's water polo junior Shanna Zuanich was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's Offensive Player of the Week following a record-setting performance over the weekend.

Zuanich helped to lead the Explorers to another shutout weekend going 4-0 against four opponents at home in Kirk Pool. She totaled 25 points from 18 assists and seven goals.

She led the assist effort in the game against Salem with a team-high nine assists and added three goals for a team-high 12 points. The nine assists and 12 points both marked new single-game program records.

Zuanich and the Explorers return to the pool this Saturday, Mar. 19 to take on VMI and Iona in Lexington, Virginia at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., respectively.
