PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle men's rowing team collected its third consecutive NovaCare Student-Athlete of the Week honors on Wednesday afternoon, the Second Varsity 4+ boat collecting it for the first time after a gold medal finish at the Kerr Cup last weekend.

The crew of Johann Kroll, Thomas Saady, Matthew Collins and Bobby Cuviello cruised to the gold medal finish, securing the top time by nearly 10 seconds in the grand finals to post their first pole position of the year, the sixth in three regattas for the men's crew team. The second varsity 4+ boat helped the men put every boat into a podium finish, all four finishing in the top three. All six boats for the Explorers advanced to the Grand Finals after both women's boats also secured qualification into the championship race. 

The men's rowing team gets the week off before returning to the waters on April 30, taking part in the Bergen Cup while the women compete at the Kelly Cup.
