SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS

  • The Explorers (7-5-2, 5-1 A-10) are on their longest unbeaten streak since 2017 after downing George Mason, 5-0, last Saturday for their fifth straight victory. In that game, Madison McCready scored two goals and handed out one assist, while Justyce Hollenbach, Haley Gschrey and Elizabeth Estrada each added a goal.
  • The Explorers are second in the A-10 with 15 points, trailing by only one point to No. 24 Saint Louis (5-0-1, 16 points).
  •  The Explorers look to win their sixth game against the Rams in their last nine meetings. The Explorers will go for their second straight victory against Fordham after earning a 3-1 win last year at Fordham.
  •  Hollenbach paces the Explorers in points (10) and goals (five). The sophomore is tied for fifth in the A-10 in goals.
  • Estrada is tied for seventh in the A-10 in assists with four. The sophomore is only two assists behind four others for the conference lead.

  • Gschrey leads the A-10 in game-winning goals with three. The junior forward also has nine points on the season on four goals and one assist.
  • Junior Michela Auguadro leads the team in saves with 47 in 12 games of action. The junior goalkeeper has posted five straight shutout victories in net, with her five clean sheets good for sixth in the A-10. She also ranks ninth in the A-10 in saves per game (3.92) and save percentage (.758). Auguadro has not allowed a goal in her last 465 minutes of action.

SCOUTING THE RAMS

  • Fordham (4-6-4, 2-1-3 A-10) comes into the contest having been unbeaten in its last three contests. The Rams topped Davidson, 1-0, on Oct. 1 and tied Dayton (0-0 on Sept. 28) and Rhode Island (2-2 last Sunday), respectively.
  • The Rams are led by Lena Johnson and Caroline Monahan. Johnson paces the team in points with nine on three goals and three assists, while Monahan leads the team in goals with four.
