PITTSBURGH — The La Salle women's soccer team goes for its seventh straight win on Sunday afternoon when they travel to face Duquesne in a key Atlantic 10 Conference match at Rooney Field. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS
- The Explorers (8-5-2, 5-1 A-10) are on their longest unbeaten streak since 2017 after coming away with a 2-1 victory over Fordham on Thursday night at McCarthy Stadium. In that game, the Explorers overcame a 1-0 deficit in the first three minutes by scoring two goals in the next 29 minutes, including a go-ahead penalty kick goal from Elizabeth Estrada, to take the lead and eventual earn the crucial victory.
- The Explorers are second in the A-10 with 18 points, trailing by only one point to No. 24 Saint Louis (6-0-1, 19 points).
- The Explorers look to win their ninth game against the Dukes in their last 18 meetings. The Explorers and Dukes have split the last 17 meetings (8-8-1).
- Junior Haley Gschrey and sophomore Justice Hollenbach lead the Explorers in points (11) and goals (five). The pair of forwards are tied for fifth in the A-10 in goals.
- Estrada is tied for ninth in the A-10 in assists with four. The sophomore is only two assists behind four others for the conference lead.
- Ricshya Walker leads the team with 33 shots and 15 shots on goal. The sophomore forward ranks seventh in the A-10 in shots per game at 2.36.
- Junior Michela Auguadro leads the team in saves with 49 in 13 games of action. The junior goalkeeper has posted five shutout victories in net, with her five clean sheets good for sixth in the A-10. She also ranks ninth in the A-10 in save percentage (.754).
- La Salle is led by Paul Royal, who is in his 21st season at the helm. Royal has a 207-158-39 record for the Explorers.
SCOUTING THE DUKES
- The Dukes (6-5-4, 3-0-4 A-10) enter the contest unbeaten in conference play this season. The Dukes' three wins have been against Rhode Island (1-0), St. Bonaventure (2-0), and George Washington (3-0), respectively. Their four ties have come against Davidson (1-1), Loyola Chicago (0-0), Massachusetts (1-1) and Saint Joseph's (0-0), respectively.
- The Dukes are led by Maya Matesa and Brianna Moore, who have combined for 21 points on the season. Matesa leads the team with 11 points on five goals and one assist while Moore is second with 10 points on five goals.
- Duquesne is coached by Al Alvine, who is in his 12th season as the head coach for the Dukes and in his 22nd season overall. Alvine is the all-time winningest coach at Duquesne with an 82-96-29 record.
