PHILADELPHIA – A hard fought 90 minutes of play left both teams without a goal in today's contest.
 
The Explorers will end the regular season in North Carolina when they take on Davidson College at 1:30 p.m.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The opening half of the contest was mostly even, both teams were playing lockdown defense.
• La Salle led in shots taken in the first half of the contest. Four different Explorers had opportunities to break the game open including Emily Banashefski who was the leading shooter for both teams.
• Banashefski was able to keep the pressure on the Ramblers throughout the second half. She had three shots on goal in the second half but wasn't able to connect.
• The best opportunity of the game was erased by a foul on La Salle. A centering pass placed directly in front of the keeper was headed in by the Explorers, but the play did not stand.

 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Banashefski tied her season high in shots take in today's contest.
• Michela Auguadro had two saves against the Ramblers.
• The teams were even in corner kicks, four apiece.
•  Loyola Chicago led in fouls with 19, La Salle had 13.
