BOSTON — The La Salle men's rowing team saw its Varsity 8+ place second and its Club 4+ boat finish fifth to highlight the team at the Head of the Charles Regatta on Saturday and Sunday on the Charles River.
The Explorers' V8+ earned its silver medal in the Men's Collegiate 8+ at the prestigious regatta by crossing the finish line in a time of 15:30.80. The Explorers finished five seconds behind Tufts, which clocked a 15:25.42.
The Explorers' Club 4+ boat came away with its fifth-place medal in the Men's Club 4+ event after posting a time of 16:26.83. The Explorers finished behind Dartmouth, Purdue, Boston University and the New York Athletic Club in the event.

The Explorers also saw its Varsity 4+ boat compete at the regatta, taking ninth in the Men's Collegiate 4+ event. The V4 clocked a time of 17:53.96.
The Explorers will return to Philadelphia to compete in the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta on Oct. 28 on the Schuylkill River.
