PHILADELPHIA – The second-seeded La Salle women's soccer team will look to punch its ticket to the Atlantic 10 Championship on Wednesday night by beating third-seeded Dayton in the conference semifinals at McCarthy Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+, with Corey Cohen on the call and Dan Mouw delivering the color commentary. In addition, Explorers fans can follow the team on X

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS
- The Explorers (11-5-3, 8-1-1 A-10) are on a 10-game unbeaten streak (9-0-1) — their longest streak since 2017 — after beating seventh-seeded Rhode Island, 2-0, in the quarterfinals last Friday at McCarthy Stadium. In that game, Haley Gschrey and Emily Banashefski scored goals in the 73rd and 76tj minutes, respectively.
- The Explorers are playing in the A-10 semifinals for the first time since 2019. That year, they dropped a 1-0 contest to Saint Louis.
- The Explorers look to win their 10th match against the Flyers in 19 meetings since 2006. The Explorers are 7-2 against Dayton at McCarthy Stadium, with all seven wins having come in a row.
- Gschrey leads the Explorers in points (16), goals (seven) and shots (41).
- Giovanna Castorina paces La Salle in assists, having handed out five this season.
- Ricshya Walker leads the team with 18 shots on goal.
- Junior Michela Auguadro leads the team in saves with 59 in 17 games of action. The junior goalkeeper has posted eight shutout victories in net.
- La Salle is led by Paul Royal, who is in his 21st season at the helm. Royal has a 210-158-40 record for the Explorers.
SCOUTING THE FLYERS
- Dayton (13-1-5, 7-0-3 A-10) are on a 12-game unbeaten streak (8-0-4) after topping sixth-seeded Saint Joseph's, 1-0, in Friday's quarterfinals. In that game, the Flyers scored in the 87th minute to come away with the win.
- The Flyers are led by Laney Huber and Madison Wilson. Huber has scored a team-high seven goals, while Wilson has 16 points on six goals and four assists.
- The Flyers also have a stalwart in goal in Batoul Reda, who has made 81 saves and allowed only nine goals this season.
- Dayton is led by head coach Eric Golz, who is in his ninth season with the Flyers. Golz has posted a record of 92-60-21.
