PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – La Salle fell to the St. Joe's Hawks by a score of 13-4.
 
La Salle is still in search for the first win of 2023, while the Hawks now go to .500 on the season at 6-6.
 
How it Happened –

• The Hawks got off to an early 2-0 lead within the first five minutes of the contest.
• Lola Quigley took in a pass from Maddie Henderson to get the Explorers on the board and cut the Hawks lead in half.
• St. Joe's then went on a 4-0 run before the La Salle scored next.
• On a free position shot, Katie Johnson got the Explorers their second goal of the game as they still trailed 6-2.
• The Hawks scored on a free position attempt before Ellen Stickney and Sara Grassi teamed up for a La Salle goal with 2:13 left in the first half. SJU led 7-3 at the end of the second quarter.
• The only three goals scored in the third quarter were by the Hawks as they took a seven-goal lead into the final frame of play.
• Henderson got her second point of the game on a goal in the early minutes of the fourth quarter.

 
Inside the Numbers –

• La Salle's, Julia Dellaratta, stopped 13 shots in the contest.
• The Explorers were 18-21 on clears.
• Maya Rhymes led the team with three ground balls scooped up.
• Claudia Steinmetz took four total shots, three of which were on goal.

• The Explorers will return to action next Saturday, April 8 at 3:00 p.m. as they take on the Richmond Spiders in Virginia.
