PHILADELPHIA — The La Salle men's rowing team is ranked 24
th in the country in the first IRCA/IRA Coaches Poll of the season, as announced Wednesday.
The IRCA/IRA Coaches Poll ranks the Top 25 D1/D2 varsity 8+s, the Top 15 D3 varsity 8+s, and all varsity lightweight programs' top boat.
The Explorers are ranked 24
th in the men's varsity 8+ after earning 29 points in the voting, edging out Gonzaga by two points for that ranking.
The Explorers will be back in action on Saturday when they compete in the Murphy Cup at the Schuylkill River.
