CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. – Explorers field hockey will host their first game at the Proving Ground tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. against the 1-1 Longwood Lancers. La Salle comes into tomorrow also with a 1-1 record on the season.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
- La Salle comes off their first win of the 2023 season in a close 2-1 victory over cross-town rival Drexel.
- Julianna Smyth provided the game-winning goal for the Explorers in the 13th minute.
- On the offensive side, Tatum Johnson kept continual pressure on Drexel as she totaled three shots and scored the opening goal for La Salle.
- Sofia Pla helped offensively and defensively tallying one shot against Drexel.
- Emily Streib made her first start of the season in goal for La Salle. She faced seven shots on goal and made six saves against the Dragons.
SCOUTING THE LANCERS:
- Longwood enters tomorrow 1-1 and most recently comes off a 0-1 loss to Saint Francis University.
- The Lancers won their opening bout of 2023 in overtime against Richmond.
- Luna Prieri is the lone goal scorer for Longwood on the season, including the game winner against Richmond.
- Santia McLaughlin has both starts in goal for Longwood and enters tomorrow with a 0.778 save percentage.
