PHILADELPHIA — The La Salle women's soccer goes for its third straight victory in Atlantic 10 Conference play Thursday night when it hosts VCU at McCarthy Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS
- The Explorers (4-5-2, 2-1 A-10) are coming off a pair of 3-0 wins over George Washington and Richmond. In the Richmond game, Sunni DiElmo scored a goal and handed out one assist, Justyce Hollenbach booted in a goal, and Courtney Butlion converted a penalty kick to lead La Salle to the victory.
- The Explorers look to win their fifth meeting against the Rams in their last 11 meetings. The Explorers' last victory was a 1-0 win on Oct. 3, 2019 at home. The results of the last three matches between La Salle and VCU have all been 1-0, with VCU winning the last two contests.
- Hollenbach, Haley Gschrey, Emily Banashefski, and Elizabeth Estrada pace the Explorers in points with six apiece. Hollenbach and Gschrey have a team-high three goals, Banashefski has two goals and two assists, and Estrada has a team-high four assists and one goal.
- Estrada is tied for fifth in the A-10 in assists with four. The sophomore is only two assists behind four others for the conference lead.
- Richsya Walker leads the team with 28 shots and 13 shots on goal. The sophomore forward ranks sixth in the A-10 in shots and seventh in the conference in shots on goal.
- Junior Michela Auguadro leads the team in saves with 38 in nine games of action. The junior goalkeeper has posted two straight shutout victories in net.
- La Salle is led by Paul Royal, who is in his 21st season at the helm. Royal has a 203-158-39 record for the Explorers.
SCOUTING THE RAMS
- The Rams are 2-1-1 in A-10 contests after beating Richmond (1-0) and George Mason (5-0), losing to Massachusetts (1-0) and tying Rhode Island (0-0).
- The Rams are led by Anna Gagley, who has 12 points on three goals and six assists. In addition, the Rams have Milica Bulatovic, who has scored three goals and taken 25 shots this year.
- VCU is coached by Lindsey Martin, who is in her 11th season as a head coach with the Rams and in her 13th season overall. Martin, who also coached at Georgia Southern for two seasons, has a 101-64-31 record at VCU and a 118-83-38 career record overall.
