PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Explorer field hockey will travel to North Carolina this weekend for a slate of matchups against conference member Davidson College on Friday, and Queens University on Sunday.
Friday's contest will start at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday's will begin at 12:00 p.m. Follow along during the games on X

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
- La Salle has a 5-4 overall record going into the weekend. They are 1-1 in conference play after falling to No. 18 Massachusetts last Friday.
- La Salle out shot the Minutewomen 16-12 with Dunja Hartsch having four shots total, three on goal.
- Sol Espona is the Explorers leading scorer and has tallied five goals thus far.
- Standout freshman Clara Larripa is not far behind Espona with four goals of her own.
- Emily Streib has made seven starts in goal and owns a .683 save percentage.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS:
- Davidson enters tomorrow with a 4-6 overall record, 0-2 thus far in A-10 Conference play.
- The Wildcats most recently had a 3-1 win over Stonehill College last Sunday.
- The two conference losses have been against Richmond and VCU, both games going to overtime.
- Junior Abby Pompeo is the team's leading goal scorer with six goals thus far.
- Cato Roell has started each game in net for Davidson and enters with a .667 save percentage.
SCOUTING THE ROYALS:
- Queens will enter Sunday in search of their first win this season. They are currently sitting at 0-10.
- The Royals have scored four goals this season and have letup four or more goals in all but one contest.
- Caroline Powell, Karlee Alt, and Riley Iasiello are the goal scorers for Queens this season.
- Grace Meinke has made the start in goal eight times this season and comes in with a 0.604 save percentage.
