SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
- The Explorers will be on one week's rest after the last time out against the Bucknell Bison. Both the men and women fell in their respective dual meet.
- On the men's side, they fell 179-121, but had strong individual performances throughout. For the women, they lost 185-115, also having standout individuals in the meet.
- Andrea Savoca has continued to impress for the men during his rookie season with La Salle. The Italian totaled three wins against Bucknell, two of which were individual. He took first in both the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke.
- Sam Henninger also performed well for the Explorers on the boards. The graduate assistant took the top spot in both the one and three-meter dives. He scored a 321.53 and a 297.68, respectively.
- On the women's side, Toni Rafferty stood out, much like she has in every meet thus far in the season. She added two more victories in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle, bringing her season total to 15 individual wins in those two events combined.
- Rafferty, a senior, has won eight 50-free events and seven 100-free events, while still contributing in the Explorer relays.
- Tori Fenn has been helping the Explorers all around this season, and the meet against Bucknell was no exception. The sophomore took first in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 57.61 and also helped La Salle to two relay victories in the 200-medley and the 200-free.
SCOUTING THE RAMS:
- Both the men and women for Fordham come into tomorrow with 5-0 records in dual meet action this season.
- Tomorrow will be the first action either team has seen since early December of 2023 when they competed at the Bucknell Invitational.
- At Bucknell, the women came out third out of seven teams, while the men finished in fourth out of six teams.
