PHILADELPHIA – In the first event of the fall season for the men's rowing team, the open 2- and 4+ boats stood out in the regatta. The open 2- boat finished in the top spot, while the three 4+ boats for the Explorers took second, third, and fourth place.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Open 2- boat with Predrag Cvetkovic and Derek Cushman rowed to a 15:11.54 pace and finished in the top spot for La Salle.
• The 4+ boats all finished within the top five for the Explorers. The 4+ 'A' boat finished in second at a pace of 14:09.15.
• The 4+ 'B' boat finished right behind in third place with a time of 14:38.74.
• And rounding out the group in fourth place was the 4+ 'C' boat in 14:40.
• In the men's collegiate 8+ final, the 'A' boat for the Explorers cracked the top-five with a finish in 13:09.36.

 
UP NEXT:

• La Salle will travel to compete at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston this upcoming Saturday.
