  • After a few slow minutes, things heated up again in the 13th minute with a save from Michela Auguardro. Mason found the back of the net in the 17th.
  • La Salle rebounded quickly, taking the next three shots, culminating in a penalty kick from Ricshya Walker that was pushed just left of the goal.

  • In the 52nd minute, the Explorers broke through. Elizabeth Estrada fired a perfect ball into the offensive zone where she found a waiting Gschrey. The senior turned and quickly found Garcia, who sailed the ball past the keeper to knot the ball at one.
  • George Mason found its footing again and became the aggressor, firing off a shot and drawing two yellow cards on La Salle.
  • Mason scored in the 61st to retake the advantage.
  • Only eight minutes later, Gschrey found DiElmo to  tie the contest up at two all.
  • The Explorers kept the pressure up with a pair of shots from freshman Kate Loncar. The attack peaked with penalty kick attempt from Estrada that was saved by the Patriots.
