HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The game started quick for Lehigh as they opened up with a three-point conversion from Lily Fandre, but the Explorers quickly answered.
  • Aryss Macktoon got her great night on offense started early as did Ashleigh Connor. The duo would combine for ten points in the opening frame, as La Salle was down four by the end.
  • Joan Quinn would quickly respond to begin the second frame. The freshman scored four quick points to tie the game eventually at 20 points.
  • Down by one with 5:05 remaining in the half, Connor hit a mid-range jump shot to get La Salle in front, and they would continue to add on.
  • The trio of Mackenzie Daleba, Anna Przyszlak, and Aryss Macktoon would give La Salle an eight-point lead with just over a minute left in the half. La Salle would go to the break up 34-29.
  • Coming out of halftime, the Mountain Hawks would claw at La Salle's lead, and eventually overtook it.
  • Ella Stemmer knocked down a three-point shot with 6:20 left in the third to give Lehigh the one-point advantage.
  • Lehigh would get their lead up to four points, but it did not last long. The Explorers would outscore Lehigh 3-2 in the final 2:52 of the third to keep them at bay and lead after three 49-48.
  • The Mountain Hawks would quickly regain the lead in the fourth, but Ty'Renisha Bowers snatched it back for La Salle with a step-back jumper.
  • Back-to-back possessions for La Salle resulted in three-point baskets courtesy of Ashleigh Connor and Jolene Armendariz to bring the Explorer lead to seven.
  • Lehigh would get within one point, but Connor knocked down free-throws late, much like in the win over Rider, to help seal the Explorer's victory 65-62.
