Nicole Melious has been named to the Atlantic 10 Conference's All-Rookie Team.

Melious came to La Salle after a record-breaking career in high school. While attending Susan E. Wagner High School, the guard set the New York City all-time single season scoring record with 1,137 points. She also leads the Big Apple in three-point shooting, converting 410 throughout her time in high school.
That success carried over to La Salle in her freshman year. Melious currently leads the team in scoring, averaging 10.7 points per game, making most of her living from the three-point line. She ranks fifth in the conference this season in three-point field goals per game, making 2.4 per game. Melious ranks 26
th in the NCAA in three-point attempts this season, and has taken 205 total.
Her regular season was capped off in a record-breaking performance against Fordham. In route to a 93-83 victory against the Rams, Melious scored a career-high 28 points in the win. She went 8-10 from three-point range, tying a La Salle program record. Her eight threes helped the team to a new program record in three-point shots made in a game at 20.
