PHILADELPHIA – Head coach Michael Warari and the La Salle field hockey team revealed its 2024 schedule on Wednesday. The season is slated to open on Friday, August 30 at 3:00 p.m. at Wagner College.
 
The Explorers will play host to eight opponents this season, playing those home games at the Temple University Sports Complex at Howarth Field. The home debut for La Salle will be on Sunday September 1 when Queens University of Charlotte travels to Philadelphia. 
 
The next six games played will be on the road for the Explorers. The road trip will start with a game on Sept. 6 at Bryant University. The road games to follow include: Fairfield (Sept. 8), Lehigh (Sept. 13), Villanova (Sept. 16), A-10 Conference member Lock Haven (Sept. 20), and Temple (Sept. 22).
 
The Explorers will return to Philadelphia as the home team on Sept. 27 for the second conference game of the season against Saint Louis. The first game in October will feature a conference opponent in Richmond on the road on Oct. 4. On Oct. 6 La Salle will remain on the road to take on Longwood University.
 
The Massachusetts Minutewomen will travel to Philly on Oct. 11 for another conference match up. A familiar opponent in Drexel University awaits the Explorers at home on Oct. 13. La Salle will stay on the road to take on Cornell on Oct. 15.
 
A four-game homestand for La Salle begins with a contest against Mercyhurst on Oct. 18. Two conference foes in Davidson and VCU will travel to Philadelphia to face La Salle on Oct. 20 and Oct. 25, respectively. The final home game of the season will be against the Rider Broncs on Oct. 27. La Salle will conclude the 2024 regular season facing Saint Joseph's at Hawk Hill on Nov. 1.
 
The Atlantic 10 Conference semifinals are slated for Nov. 7 and the finals will be held on Nov. 9.
