PHILADELPHIA – The undefeated La Salle Explorers are primed for two more contests in the next few days in hopes to maintain their winning streak. La Salle will travel to face the 2-2 Lehigh Mountain Hawks on Friday, Sept. 13 at 5:00 PM. The Blue & Gold will then stay on the road to take on the 2-2 Villanova Wildcats at The Proving Grounds.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
- The 4-0 Explorers are coming off of a 2-0 weekend up in Rhode Island and Connecticut with wins over Bryant and Fairfield.
- Both games came down to one shot being the difference for La Salle, especially on Friday in the win over Bryant.
- Sofia Pla secured the overtime victory for the Explorers by scoring the lone goal of the contest off of a penalty corner shot. That was Pla's second goal of the season, tying her with Zhao Rodrigo and Shea Burns at the top of the team in goals scored.
- On Sunday against Fairfield, the Explorers found offense from two different sources. Freshman Roos Pasveer was able to secure her first goal of her collegiate career with an assist from Grace Ferriolo.
- Ferriolo and Pasveer connected once again later in the game in what would be the difference, as Ferriolo secured her first goal as an Explorer in her senior year.
- In those two games Abby Boggs was the starting goalie. She faced a combined 21 shots, and saved 11 total shots. She only allowed one goal last weekend.
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAIN HAWKS:
- Lehigh enters tomorrow with a 2-2 overall record, having gone 1-1 in each of the two first weekends of play.
- Most recently they topped the Rider Broncs on the road 2-1 for their second win of the season.
- Junior Kiki Mes is the leader in the clubhouse in terms of goals this season with two. She scored both of Lehigh's goals in the win over Rider on Sunday.
- Five other members of the Mountain Hawks have connected for goals this season including fifth year Julia Gatelein and senior Guusje Hogendoorn.
- Jenny Canoni has started all four contests in goal for Lehigh and she enters tomorrow with a .606 save percentage.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS:
- The Villanova Wildcats enter the weekend at 2-2 overall, with their most recent victory coming against Mercyhurst 9-0.
- Nova will take on the #13 Saint Joseph's Hawks on the road on Friday before returning home to face La Salle on Monday.
- In last season's meeting, the game came down to the wire, but the Explorers pulled out a victory with only a handful of minutes remaining in the contest.
- Sabine de Ruijter and Ava Borkowski lead the way in goals scored for the Wildcats eaching having scored three this season. de Ruijter also leads the team in shots with 25.
- Maddi Sears has started all four games in goal for Villanova this season, and enters the weekend with a .667 save percentage.
