PHILADELPHIA – The Explorers return to Philadelphia as the home squad when they play host to the Saint Louis Billikens on Friday, Sept. 27 at 3:00 PM. The game will be played at Howarth Field on the campus of Temple University.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
- La Salle enters tomorrow with a 5-3 overall record. They began the season winning five straight contests, but are currently in a three-game skid.
- Last weekend the Explorers went 0-2, dropping the conference opener to Lock Haven 1-0, before coming back to Philadelphia and losing to the Temple Owls 4-0.
- The Blue & Gold have been searching for offense in the past three games played, as they have no scored a goal in this current losing streak.
- Sofia Pla has been the leader in shots taken in the past three games with a total of seven.
- Throughout the opening eight games, Abby Boggs has made all eight starts and has played every minute in goal for the Explorers. She sits at second in the conference in saves this season (41), third in saves per game (5), and second in GAA (1.356).
- La Salle leads the all-time series with the Billikens 14-3 and are coming off of a 6-1 victory over Saint Louis last season on the road. The Explorers are on a four-game winning streak against Saint Louis.
SCOUTING THE BILLIKENS:
- Saint Louis enters tomorrow with a 1-5 overall record, and 0-1 in conference after dropping their A-10 opener last week to the Richmond Spiders 3-1.
- The Billikens picked up their first win of the season last Sunday with a resounding 7-1 win over Frostburg State.
- Josefina Perez is the leading goal-getter for the Billikens having scored seven goals this season. No one else on the team has more than one goal aside from Perez.
- Abby Schalow has started five games in net for the Bills, entering tomorrow with a .622 save percentage.
