PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's basketball team outrebounded Duquesne 58-38 and came within three of the single-game school record for rebounds, but it wasn't enough, as the Dukes earned a 67-57 victory on Wednesday morning at John E. Glaser Arena.
Graduate student
Mackenzie Daleba (11 points, 18 rebounds), and freshman
Joan Quinn (13 points, 12 rebounds) became the first pair of Explorers to record a double-double in a game since Shaquana Edwards and Amy Griffin against Massachusetts in 2018.
La Salle's 58 rebounds are the third-most by an Atlantic 10 school this season and two shy of the Explorers' season high of 60 rebounds against Chestnut Hill.
