Women's Track Competes in Scarlet Knight Open

NEW YORK – The La Salle women's track team returned to The Armory Friday morning, as the squad took part in the Scarlet Knight Open.

Only four women competed in the meet, with all of them running in 5000-meter event.

HOW THEY FINISHED:

Amelia Green and Stella Hammond went fifth and sixth in the 5k, with times of 17:55.55 and 17:56.11, respectively. Both achieved a personal best with their performances.
In the same heat, Ella Verello's time of 18:14.34 got her 11^th place.
Emma Taylor also competed in the 5k, getting a time of 18:43.68 to finish in 17^th place.

UP NEXT

The Explorers travel to Staten Island on Friday, as the teams will participate in the Fast Track National Invite. The meet will start at 12:00 p.m.
