Philadelphia, PA – The La Salle women's basketball team fell 85-49 against Saint Joseph's on Sunday afternoon.
With the loss, the Explorers fall to 7-10 on the season and 1-3 in Atlantic 10 play, while the Hawks improve to 12-2 overall and 3-0 in league action.

Ashleigh Connor once again led La Salle with nine points, as 10 different Explorers scored points on the afternoon.
How it Happened:
- The Hawks opened a 15-5 lead in the first quarter, with Connor and graduate student Jolene Armendariz recording one basket apiece for the Explorers.
- Saint Joe's extended its lead with a 22-12 advantage in the second quarter, with both teams scoring 26 of 34 points in the paint throughout the period.
- La Salle scored a game-high 17 points in the third quarter before tying the Hawks 15-15 in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough, as Saint Joe's earned its seventh straight victory.

- Connor and Armendariz led the Explorers with six rebounds apiece.
- The Hawks connected on 56.9% (33-58) of their field goal attempts on the afternoon, as Laura Ziegler led all scorers with 22 points.
