Philadelphia, PA — La Salle men's soccer earned a dominant 4–0 victory over Arcadia on Tuesday night at McCarthy Stadium. With the win, the Explorers improved to 2–4–7 overall, while the Knights dropped to 6–3–5.
La Salle took control early when junior forward Kyrese Lynch-Bailey opened the scoring in the 9th minute, finishing a setup from juniors Alexandru Zama and Tobi Osoba. The Explorers doubled their lead in the 31st minute thanks to junior midfielder Zach Forehand, who converted from close range to make it 2–0 heading into halftime.
The hosts continued to press after the break. Sophomore forward Pedro Amadou struck in the 73rd minute off a pass from Forehand to extend the margin, and Lynch-Bailey capped the scoring with his second goal of the night in the 88th minute, with assists by junior forward Daniel Lainsbury and sophomore forward Itzak Sandoval.
Junior goalie Wanwi Choi made his Explorers debut, playing the whole 90 and recorded two saves to secure the shutout. The hosts outshot the visitors 32-7 overall.
La Salle travels to play George Mason Saturday night at 7:00 pm. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
