Philadelphia, PA – The La Salle rugby team battled within one score in two of the matches, but Army ultimately won all three of Saturday afternoon's 10s matches at Hank DeVincent Field.

After Army took the first match, 21-0, La Salle tightened the gap in the final two, despite Army coming away, 10-7, and 14-10, respectfully.

Kaylie Castro, Maeve Delaney, and Kendra Close scored tries for La Salle, who played their final home match of the season.

Castro scored as time expired in the first half of the second match, powering through a tackle at midfield and breaking away to put La Salle on the board. Bailey Borum-Grey's conversion was good, cutting Army's lead to 10-7.

Maeve Delaney scored 45 seconds into the third match to give La Salle a 5-0 lead, and after two consecutive Army tries and conversions to end the first half, Kedra Clark found the try zone to put La Salle within four points, 14-10.

For Army, Chloe De Leon scored three tries and Ella-May Campbell scored twice, as the Black Knights posted the first 31 points of the afternoon between the first and second match.

La Salle is back in action next Saturday, as the Explorers hit the road to take on Mount St. Mary's in the season finale.
