Washington, D.C. – MacCallum Rowe and
Gwenno Goode were named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Teams, while
Matt Hill was named to the league's All-Rookie Team for indoor track & field, the conference announced on Tuesday morning. The conference's track & field communication directors selected 23 total athletes for its All-Academic teams for the 2024-25 season, while the All-Rookie team was composed of student-athletes who competed in their first season of indoor track & field, and who registered the top mark in their respective event from the start of the season through the Atlantic 10 Championships.
Rowe and Goode each had standout performances at the conference championships three weeks ago. Rowe got silver in the 5k with a time of 14:11.01, and also recorded a fifth place finish in the 3k. For Goode, she won the 3k with a time of 9:44.97, and was part of the distance medal relay team that took gold, finishing in 11:35.21.
Hill, named to the All-Rookie for having the fastest men's rookie time, finished in 14:37.91 to get an eighth place finish at the conference championships.
Goode, Hill, and Rowe will next compete along with the rest of the La Salle track & field teams on Saturday in the Penn Challenge meet.
