Lewisburg, PA – Explorers track & field traveled to central Pennsylvania to race in the Bison Outdoor Classic Saturday afternoon. Many La Salle athletes achieved personal bests at the meet, which was hosted by Bucknell University.

HOW THEY FINISHED:
- In a race with over 150 entries, Ricky Lee and Joe Branderbit finished in the top half of the 800-meter run. Lee was 57th with a time of 1:56.34, and Branderbit was 67th, finishing it in 1:56.82.
- Both Lee's and Branderbit's times were personal bests in that event.
- Amelia Green finished 23rd overall in the 1500-meter race, crossing the line at 4:48.05.
- Gillian Lovett placed fifth in the 3k steeplechase, getting it done in 10:48.24, a new personal best for her.
- To conclude the day, Georgia Rose-Dawson ran in the 1500-meter invite. She got 40th with her time of 4:38.61, which was a personal best for her.
UP NEXT
- The Explorers will split up next weekend. Half of the squad will race in the Virginia Challenge Friday afternoon, which starts at 4:00 p.m. and the meet will be streamed on ACC Network Extra. The remaining athletes will compete in the Paul Donahue Invitational in Chester, Pa. on Friday, with the time TBD.
