PHILADELPHIA - For the third Saturday in a row, the La Salle men's rowing team took to the Schuylkill River for a set of races.
All three of the boats representing the Blue and Gold placed second in their respective races, falling to #16/#14 Temple in the 1V and 2V, while #14 Drexel took the crown in the 3V.
The Explorers' 3V boat finished in 6:31.1, half of a second faster than the Explorers' 2V.
The Bergen Cup marked the final race for many seniors on the Schuylkill River including
Thomas Saady,
Dominic Mazza,
Joe Yeager,
Luke Iannelli,
Joel Bevenour,
Nick O'Neill,
Viktor Susic, and
Dylan Anderson.
With only two events remaining on the schedule, the Explorers will compete in the coveted Dad Vails in two weekends on April 9 and 10.
