Men's Rowing's V8 and 3V8 Boats To Compete In C Final At IRA National Championship

Pennsauken, NJ - On Saturday, the La Salle University men's rowing team competed in the IRA National Championship Semifinals.

Each of the V8 and 2V8 boats competed in a CD Semifinal, with a trip to the C final on the line on Sunday. The 3V8 boat had the day off as they had already qualified for their respective C final on Friday.

The V8 boat placed second in their semifinal, defeating four ranked teams including #13 Boston University, the highest ranked team the team has defeated head-to-head all season. Their finish earned them a spot in the C final.

The 2V8 barely fell short, placing fourth in their heat, finishing less than two seconds behind #25 UC San Diego for the last spot in the 2V8 C Final.

On the final day of the IRA National Championship, each of La Salle's boats will compete for their final IRA Ranking.
