Explorers Compete In NCAA Regionals, With Gwenno Goode Qualifying For NCAA Nationals

Jacksonville, FLA. – The La Salle men's and women's track teams raced in the NCAA East Regionals this past week, with racers from the school competing in the 3k steeplechase and 10k events.

HOW THEY FINISHED:

On Day 1 of the meet, MacCallum Rowe raced to a 27th place finish, completing the 10k in 29:47.24.
Day 2 featured the women's 10k, in which Helene Usher ran it in a time of 34:52.35 to get 38th place.
David Butts ran the 3k steeplechase in 9:08.97 the following day to get 37th place the next day.
Gwenno Goode, racing on the fourth and final day, qualified for the NCAA National Championships by placing 11th in the 3k steeplechase. She ran the event in 10:01.65.

UP NEXT:

Goode will race in the NCAA National Championships in Eugene, Ore. later this month. The four-day compeitition will begin on Wednesday, June 11.
