Philadelphia, PA – La Salle head women's basketball coach
Mountain MacGillivray has announced the addition of six student-athletes for the 2025-26 season.
Ava Hoy, Yar Manyiel, Jana Mbambo Njoya, Ivona Miljanic, Amiya Moses, and Kiara Williams will join eight returners for the upcoming year.
"We're very excited about our incoming class and the talent we've added," MacGillivray commented. "We are ready to take the next step and build on the momentum we gained at the end of last season."
Ava Hoy | 6'3 Center | Canton, NY
High School
· Attended HC Williams High School and Canton Central High School in New York
· Earned a Section Championship as a junior
· Two-time First Team All-Section selection and Section MVP
· Earned All-NEPSAC honors
· Played club basketball for NY Havoc
· Three-sport athlete who also excelled in softball and was an all-state volleyball player.
· Both parents were college athletes
Yar Manyiel | 6'0 Guard/Forward | North Kansas City, MO
2024-25 (Johnson County)
· Played in 35 games with 33 starts
· Scored 302 points, averaging 8.6 points per game
· 281 total rebounds, averaging 8.0 rebounds per game
2023-24 (Johnson County)
· Played in 29 games with one in the starting lineup
· Reached double figures in points four times
· Began her first collegiate season on a tear finishing in double figure scoring in three of her first four games

· Three-year starter and four-year letter winner for coach Jeffery Lacy at North Kansas City High School, North Kansas City, Mo.
· Transferred her spring senior semester to Oak Park High School, Kansas City, Mo., and graduated in 2023
· Three-time All-Suburban Red All-Conference selection
· As a sophomore finished second on the team in points and led the team in shooting percentage

· Won The U20 French Championship in 2022

Ivona Miljanic | 6'0 Guard | Belgrade, Serbia

· Averaged 27.7 minutes per game and 11.1 PPG
