Here is a look of the action to come this week for La Salle Athletics, brought to you by Hershey's Ice Cream.
Men's and Women's Cross Country
- The Explorers will start its 2025 season at the Temple Invitational in Ambler, Pa. on Friday at 5 p.m.
- Last year, the men's team finished fifth out of 15 teams in the Atlantic 10 Championships. The women's team placed fourth, with Gwenno Goode winning the individual title.

Field Hockey
- The La Salle University Field Hockey team will begin their 2025 season against Lehigh at home on Friday at Ellen Ryan Field.
- Three returners each netted three goals for the Explorers last season: sophomore Roos Pasveer, junior Gabrielle Lacroix, and senior Shea Burns.

Men's Golf
- The La Salle University Men's Golf team will play in their first tournament of the season, the Red Bandanna Invitational at Turning Stone Resort in Verona, NY starting on Sunday.
- Incoming graduate transfer, Jackson Debusschere recently placed first at the 52nd annual Horace Rawlins Invitational on September 22 at The Springhaven Club. He shot a 66 (-4) with nine birdies.

Women's Rugby
- The women's rugby team will make its program debut on Saturday at 1 p.m. as the Explorers host Mount St. Mary's.

Men's Soccer
- The men's soccer team will go on the road for a pair of games this week, playing #16 West Virginia Monday at 6 p.m., followed by a visit to Rider Friday at 7 p.m. Both games will be streamed on ESPN+.
- Last Thursday, defender Lucas Kelley scored off a corner kick in the 88th minute to get the Explorers a point against Lehigh.
- Tino Kneis made four saves and was awarded Philly Soccer Six Goalkeeper of the Week honors for his performance.

- The women's soccer team will look to bounce back after dropping two straight. The team will travel to Cornell for their second of three straight games in the state of New York.
